K.P.C. Power Electrical Ltd. (KPC Power) is looking for a motivated and experienced MANAGER, ENGINEERING SERVICES for our growing business playing a vital role in overseeing projects, managing teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of engineering services.
KPC Power specializes in high-voltage power system maintenance, utility construction and substation retrofits. We manage all specialties internally to ensure professional execution and complete customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Managing all P&C and Automation services employed by KPC Power. Ensuring accurate results, commissioning services, and overall service excellence concerning protection with utility, renewable, and large industrial markets.
• Reviewing Station Build design packages prepared by our Engineering partners before the construction phase. Attend design review meetings with end customers and engineering partners.
• Manage and approve technical reports; P&C, standard substation maintenance, commissioning, IR scanning, and ensure high-level QC.
• Oversee and manage personnel with the specialty services that KPC Power currently employs, transformer testing, switchgear testing, and partnership cable testing with overall commissioning services and support internally.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated with technological advancements and industry trends. Foster professional development among team members, providing training opportunities and mentoring.
• Build and develop a broader engineering service; short circuit, arc flash, and overall support for KPC “design-build” projects.
• Develop and provide leadership within the Technical Services Group. Represent KPC Power with consulting engineers, fostering a high-quality and efficient strategy toward pioneering solutions.
• Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project needs.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, assisting in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Develop and manage project budgets, controlling costs, and identifying areas for cost-saving measures.
• Continuously improve engineering processes, seeking efficiency gains and optimizing workflows.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with teams, clients, stakeholders, and present complex technical information.
• Capacity to develop and execute long-term plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations or when facing complex technical challenges.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Certifications, such as being an active member of the Professional Engineer Ontario (PEO), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Manager (CM), or other industry-specific certifications that demonstrate expertise and leadership skills.
• A strong foundation in engineering principles relevant to the industry.
