K.P.C. Utility Solutions Group Inc. (KPC USG) is looking for a FLEET SUPERVISOR to manage and coordinate the operations of KPC USG’s fleet of vehicles.
KPC USG and its divisions; K.P.C. Energy Metering Solutions Ltd. (KPC EMS), K.P.C. Power Electrical Ltd. (KPC Power), and Power Source Instruments Inc. (PSI) is a progressive, privately-owned, high-voltage electrical contractor.
We specialize in high-voltage power system maintenance, utility construction, and energy-metering services. KPC USG houses all specialties internally to professionally implement all work, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Guide, advise, and promote proactive hazard awareness and recognition to reduce incidents in the workplace; assist with root cause analysis within incident investigations as required.
• Oversee the maintenance, scheduling, and operation of KPC’s fleet of vehicles.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with safety regulations and are properly maintained.
• Implement and monitor driver performance using Geotab, which includes adherence to routes, schedules, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate the purchasing of new vehicles, including selecting appropriate makes and models.
• Manage the disposal of old vehicles, including selling, auctioning, or transferring assets.
• Develop and manage the fleet budget, including expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and fuel.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies within the fleet.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and incidents.
• Generate reports on fleet performance, costs, and KPIs for management review.
• Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory requirements, including licensing, inspections, and emissions standards.
• Monitor weekly/monthly fuel consumption.
• Review/approve Enterprise invoicing.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU
• Certificate or Degree in Fleet Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3-5 years of experience in Fleet Management or a related field.
• Supervisor / Manager experience an asset.
• Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Identify and address issues related to vehicle maintenance, driver performance, and logistics.
• Effective organizational skills to manage scheduling and maintenance of a large fleet of vehicles.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
